Maître Geiben holds a Master's degree in Private Law from the University of Strasbourg (1994) and a Master's degree in Political Science (1995). He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1996.
He joined the firm in 1996 and has been a partner since 2000.
He practises in various areas of law, in particular civil law, commercial law, tax law, employment law, social security law, administrative law and criminal law.
Maître Geiben is a member of the Transnational Tax Network (TTN).

Maître Lentz holds a Master's degree in Business Law from Aix-Marseille III University and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2001.
He practised within the firm from 2001 to 2007 before pursuing his career as a partner in an independent Luxembourg law firm.
Maître Lentz rejoined SCHAEFFER HENGEL GEIBEN LENTZ as a partner in 2026.
He principally practises business law, with a particular focus on corporate law and corporate governance.
Maître Lentz is a member of the Luxembourg Banking & Financial Law Association (ALJB) and the Italian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CCIL).

Maître Backes holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Strasbourg (1996) and a postgraduate diploma (D.E.S.) in International and European Law from the Catholic University of Louvain (1997). He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1997.
He joined the firm in 2000.
He principally practises civil and commercial law, real estate law, employment law, and matters relating to the protection of vulnerable adults, including judicial protection, curatorship and guardianship.

Maître Duval holds a Master's degree in Business Law and a Magistère in European Business Law, jointly awarded by the University of Nancy and the University of East Anglia (Norwich, United Kingdom). She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2009.
Before joining the firm in 2026, she notably practised for six years within an independent Luxembourg law firm.
She practises in business law and corporate law, as well as civil and commercial law, employment law, real estate law and family law.
Languages: French and English; basic knowledge of Luxembourgish and Italian.

Maître Ghioca holds a law degree from the Romanian-American University of Bucharest, Romania, a degree in Economics from the Faculty of International Economic Relations in Bucharest, Romania, and a Master's degree in Innovation and Technology Transfer from the University of Trieste, Italy. She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2013.
She joined the firm in 2011 as a jurist.
She advises and represents clients in litigation, in particular in corporate law, bankruptcy and liquidation matters, family law, matters relating to the protection of vulnerable adults, including judicial protection, curatorship and guardianship, as well as employment law.

Maître Gocek holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Wrocław, an LL.M. in Private International Law, and a Master's degree in Law from the Catholic University of Louvain. He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2021.

His academic background and professional experience have led him to develop a particular interest in banking law, financial law and corporate law.
